            <h3><u>Interviews are expected to be held on the 10th June 2026.</u></h3><h3><strong>This role will be based on the university campus.</strong></h3><p><strong>Do you have experience and knowledge of delivering Swimming lessons and swimming programmes? Do you have excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service</strong>?&nbsp;</p><p>You will deliver swimming lessons as part of the day-to-day operation of The Edge sports facility. You will play an active role in lesson delivery, providing information to customers and maintaining high standards set by Sport &amp; Physical Activity. &nbsp;</p><p>You will have Swim England level 2 teaching qualification and experience and knowledge of delivering swimming lessons. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills with a commitment to customer service. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>An enhanced disclosure is from the Disclosure and baring service (DBS) is required for this role.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.             <p id="isPasted"><u>The interviews are expected to be held on the week commencing the 8th June 2026</u></p><p>This role will be based on the university campus.</p><p><strong>Are you customer focused and dedicated to providing an excellent service? Do you have excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work effectively</strong></p><p>The University has recently invested &pound;1.2M to expand &lsquo;The Edge&rsquo; sports facility and provides state of the art fitness and class equipment, offering a range of classes and aquatics activities and 25 metre 8 lane swimming pool.</p><p>As a Recreation Assistant you will work as part of a large team ensuring that the environment is safe for use and that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times. Alongside your responsibility for lifeguarding, you will undertake a range of duties including cleaning tasks, setting up sport areas and moving equipment safely.</p><p>You will have a current Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS) lifeguard qualification and ideally have experience working as a lifeguard, ensuring you keep up to date with the monthly lifeguard training.? You will have excellent communication skills and have a helpful attitude towards customers, with the ability to work independently and also as part of a team.</p><p>You will need to be available to work weekdays and weekends, early morning starts (0600am) and late evenings (1100pm) You will be primarily based at one of our designated sports facilities, however, will be required to work at any of our sports facilities when required.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.             <p><strong>School of Medicine</strong></p><p><strong>Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine</strong></p><p><strong>Do you have experience of coordinating projects and exceptional organisational skills? Can you work effectively as part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team? Are you looking for a challenging role which enables you to work across a diverse range of activities and with a variety of people to support clinical research?&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You will provide high quality project support for the Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) programme, in particular supporting projects within the Neonatal Clinical Care Research Theme.&nbsp;</p><p>Your responsibilities will include the coordination of research projects, monitoring progress against objectives, and supporting stakeholder engagement, communications and reporting activities. You will work with the CHORAL Core Leadership Team and staff across the University of Leeds, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds Hospitals Charity and other project collaborators.</p><p>You will have experience of successful project management and preferably this would be in an academic, healthcare or clinical environment. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area (or have equivalent experience), possess excellent interpersonal skills and have proven experience of working effectively as both part of a team and independently.</p><p>The Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) programme is an exciting new platform to support and develop child health research across Leeds. This &pound;5 million programme, running between 2023-29, will create a world-leading platform of academic excellence in children&rsquo;s healthcare through:&nbsp;</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Establishment of the multidisciplinary Leeds Hospitals Charity Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds Research Centre (CHORAL RC), an inter-organisational initiative comprising members from across the Faculty of Medicine and Health (FMH) at the University of Leeds (UoL) and Leeds Children&rsquo;s Hospital (LCH) at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT).&nbsp;</li><li>A co-ordinated programme of pipeline development of child health researchers. Our programme will draw on expertise across the UoL and tap into the world-class research on childhood development &ndash; enabling a truly holistic approach to improving child health.
