We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.</p><p id="isPasted">Catering &amp; Hospitality Services or Great Food at Leeds (GFAL) supports the student experience at the University. The Service operates cafes, caters for functions, manages and provides service to conferences and events and operates a central refectory that provides meals to students, staff and visitors.</p><p>As a Catering Administration Assistant you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working to ensure impeccable customer service and accuracy and efficiency of catering support systems and processes. You will support the smooth operation of our Catering and Hospitality offer through attention to detail and a professional attitude, ensuring customer and colleague needs are met, and our standards are adhered to at all times.&nbsp;</p><p>The Catering &amp; Hospitality department operates a number of catering-specific software platforms, including a stock management &amp; procurement system, an EPoS till system / loyalty app, rota management software and a hospitality booking system. This role involves working with all these systems to ensure data quality and accuracy of information.</p><p>Although based in University House the post holder may be required to cover any areas of catering across campus to meet business needs. &nbsp;You may on occasion be required to deputise in the absence of managers within your area.</p><p>This is a full-time role working 35 hours each week on a 5 days over 7 contract, however normal working hours for this role are generally expected to be weekdays between the hours of 8am and 6pm.</p><p>You may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business including working in other Catering Services locations on campus if necessary and occasional weekend working as and when required.</p><p><strong>This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Do you have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships?</strong></p><p>The University has recently invested &pound;1.2M to expand &lsquo;The Edge&rsquo; sports facility and provides state of the art fitness and class equipment, offering a range of classes and aquatics activities and 25 metre 8 lane swimming pool.&nbsp;</p><p>As an Assistant Duty Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Recreation Assistants and ensuring that a high level of customer service is always maintained. You will work in a team ensuring that operational procedures and work practices are adhered to by keeping the facilities safe, clean and always maintained. Working with the Duty Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the facility.&nbsp;</p><p>Working as part of a team, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others. You will have the ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative. You will have experience working in a Sport, Leisure or Fitness Facility in a supervisory capacity and will hold a current Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS) Lifeguard qualification and a National Pool Plant Operators Qualification or have the ability to pass within 3 months.</p><p>The role is full time, working on a shift basis which will include the requirement for you to work early morning starts (0600am) and late evenings (1100pm), weekends, University Closure days and Bank Holidays.             <p>This role will be based on the university campus. &nbsp;We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.</p><p><strong>We have two exciting roles available for a Camp Assistant and Camp Leader to gain more experience coaching in a multi-sport setting.</strong></p><p>Our Sport &amp; Physical Activity team are seeking experienced coaches from all sporting backgrounds to help deliver multi sports camps for Key Stage 1 &amp; 2 children during the 2026 Easter &amp; Summer breaks. Our multi sports camps will take place at the Edge where children aged 5-11 years will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports including football, racquet sports, climbing &amp; swimming. You will gain valuable experience facilitating sport &amp; supervising children of a variety of ages and abilities.   &nbsp;</p><p id="isPasted">As a Camp Assistant you will have a minimum Level 1 sport specific coaching qualification in any sport and may have some experience of assisting with the delivery of fun and inclusive sports activities for children. Camp Assistants will work under the direction and supervision of Camp Leaders and the Camp Manager to support the delivery of age-appropriate activities for children in a variety of sports including; helping to prepare for, set up and demonstrate sessions and support children to engage during the course of each session ensuring everyone is motivated, safe and having a positive experience. &nbsp;You will also support the Camp Manager with the organisation and implementation of the camps from drop off to pick up, including supervising lunchtime and breaks, escorting children to specialist activities such as swimming &amp; climbing, ensuring health &amp; safety of all participants at all times and maintaining high standards of engagement and behaviour throughout. &nbsp;</p><p>As a Camp Leader you will have a minimum Level 2 sport specific coaching qualification in any sport (or PE teaching qualifications &amp; experience) and experience of leading the delivery of fun and inclusive sports activities for children. Camp Leaders will plan &amp; deliver age-appropriate activities for children in a variety of sports with the support of Camp Assistants. Camp Leaders will have overarching responsibility for their assigned group, their activities and schedule and will also oversee the work of their assigned Camp Assistants.
