Do you have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and networks?&nbsp;</strong></p><p>At the University of Leeds, we have the ambition to provide the best environment for those student athletes that wish to perform at the highest level and develop their sporting skills. This has been most recently shown through the development of our new sport support service facility &ndash; Gryphon Performance Hub.&nbsp;</p><p>As the Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Leeds, you will plan and deliver a suite of S&amp;C programmes across our performance sport offer. You will ensure athletes benefit from high-quality, evidence-based training and support that optimises performance, minimises injury risk, and fosters long term athletic development. This role will work collaboratively with coaches, physiotherapists, academic staff, and external partners, and play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of performance sport at the University.&nbsp;</p><p>This is a full-time role working 35 hours each week. There will be some requirements to work evenings and weekends.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Purpose of job</strong></p><p>To support the design, delivery, and ongoing development of strength and conditioning (S&amp;C) across the University of Leeds sport programmes. The postholder will help ensure athletes benefit from high-quality, evidence-based training and support that optimises performance, minimises injury risk, and promotes long-term athletic development. Working collaboratively with coaches, physiotherapists, academic staff, and external partners, the role will contribute to the effective delivery and continuous improvement of performance sport provision at the University.</p><p><strong>This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.             <p><u>The in-person interviews are expected to be held on Friday 31st July 2026 at the main campus in Leeds.</u></p><p id="isPasted"><strong>The University of Leeds are seeking an experienced catering professional to work across our portfolio of 13 catering outlets/cafes on the University campus.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Providing customers with excellent service and quality fresh food and drink is at the heart of what we strive to achieve in our Catering &amp; Hospitality Services Team. Working in conjunction with the Senior Team Leader Refectory you will be responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient campus service is delivered to students, staff and visitors in line with the department&rsquo;s strategy and goals. You will have line management responsibility for managing a small team of Catering Assistants and Senior Catering Assistants and be responsible for ensuring that Catering Services units operate effectively and ensuring that customer needs and brand standards are met and are adhered to at all times.&nbsp;</p><p>This role is full time and is required to work 35 hours each week and is normally worked 5 days over 7. You may be required to work rotated weekends, and in addition work between the hours of 7am to 10pm, but full flexibility will be required. Please note that the above weekly hours and times of work will vary throughout the year for this post and will require some flexibility in order to meet the needs of the business. Are you able to build and maintain effective working relationships? &nbsp;Would you like to join a team maintaining the external estate at the University of Leeds?</strong></p><p>You will have &nbsp;experience of working in a grounds maintenance environment. &nbsp;You will possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Joining a busy and growing team you will be a key part of a team making sure that the external estate is attractive, well maintained and reflects well on the University. Your team contributes &nbsp;to the University by undertaking varied support activities including external maintenance activities and supporting the set up of events across the University.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be able to undertake significant levels of manual handling and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. An interest in horticulture would be an advantage however full training will be provided.&nbsp;</p><p>Grounds and Gardens staff are required to provide a flexible service, working as necessary to meet the needs of the University, this would normally equate to a 35 hour working week, 5 days over 7. Your normal working times will be 7.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday working on average 1 Saturday in 4; however flexibility is particularly required due to seasonal variations, customer requirements and University events e.g. open days, large conferences and degree ceremonies.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. This new role has been developed to allow us to deliver immediate energy reduction measures and optimisations to the TREND BEMS&nbsp;</p><p>Reporting to the Smart Building Systems Manager, your primary duties will consist of reviewing existing building control strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering change.
