Would you like to play / be a proactive team member playing a pivotal role supporting delivery of high-quality continual professional development for Public Health professionals within the Yorkshire and the Humber region?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Senior Programme Administrator to support the Public Health Practitioner Programme. You will join the team to provide high quality administrative support to the programme processes&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Practitioner Development Programme, Yorkshire and the Humber (PHPWDP Y&amp;H), plays a key role in supporting public health workforce development across the region. The programme delivers a structured practitioner scheme designed to support public health practitioners in working towards registration with the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR), the professional regulator for public health professionals in the UK. In addition, the programme provides a continuing professional development (CPD) offer for public health staff across Yorkshire and the Humber.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This role will have a particular focus on providing support for the Programme Coordinator and ensuring processes are managed correctly. You will work with other colleagues within the Business Operations Team and Professional Services to adopt and embed a continuous improvement and service improvement approach. This will involve establishing and developing best practice processes &amp; procedures and working to ensure these are implemented. Would you like to join a dynamic team at the heart of delivering student education? Are you an enthusiastic and motivated healthcare professional with an interest in education who could contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals through the provision of high-quality clinical skills teaching and assessment?</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The University of Leeds is one of the top 75 universities in the world. You will also take part in assessment and feedback on students&rsquo; clinical skills and have a major involvement in the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), including organisation and examining. Clinical Skills teaching complements the students&rsquo; academic learning, supporting both theoretical and clinical work. Students strongly value this teaching and view the professional experience and guidance as essential for their development and future success.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills, be able to relate well to students and possess the ability to work both independently and within a team. You will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified healthcare professional, (e.g. nurse, doctor, PA) with extensive experience in a clinical setting involving recent clinical contact with patients. You will have current professional registration with a regulated body including the GMC, NMC or HCP and a relevant healthcare qualification.
