            <p><u>The interviews are expected to be held on the week commencing the 22nd June 2026</u></p><p id="isPasted">This role will be based Unipol Student Homes, 155-157 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 3ED.</p><p><strong>The Assistant Finance Manager &ndash; Income is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for maintaining and administering Unipol&rsquo;s financial and operational records. Working closely with the Senior Finance Team (Director of Finance, Deputy Director of Finance, Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager &ndash; Expenditure) you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You will take responsibility for the effective management, processing, and reporting of all cash and income streams across the organisation. You will ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in line with organisational policies and statutory requirements.&nbsp;</p><p>Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be accountable for delivering high-quality financial support and oversight in relation to income functions.</p><p>To support your ongoing professional development, study support is available to you, depending on your experience and qualifications.</p><p>General Information &nbsp; Unipol is a housing Charity, providing assistance in finding and supplying housing for students in Leeds, Nottingham and Bradford.             <p id="isPasted">The role will be based at Unipol Student Homes, 155-157 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 3ED.</p><p><strong>The Code Complaints Officer plays a vital role in supporting a positive student experience and improving housing standards across the student accommodation sector through resolution of complaints. The postholder is the first point of contact for complaints made under Unipol&rsquo;s accreditation Codes and related schemes, working with landlord Members and students to resolve issues fairly, proportionately and in line with published standards.</strong></p><p>This role combines complaints resolution, investigation and mediation with direct engagement with students, landlords, agents and partners. The focus is on early resolution and support for students - helping to improve housing outcomes for students by operating an effective and responsive complaints process that promotes confidence in the Codes.</p><p>Unipol Student Homes is a nationally respected charity with a unique role in the student housing sector. Reporting to the Deputy Finance Director, the postholder provides essential administrative, transactional and project support across a wide range of finance functions, including project work, debt collection, purchase ledger and cash book duties.</strong></p><p>You will work closely with colleagues across the senior finance team, providing exposure to core financial processes and opportunities to contribute to ongoing improvements in finance systems and procedures. To succeed, you will need to combine excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on accuracy, effective time‑management and meeting deadlines, while consistently promoting best practice across all finance activities.</p><p>To support your professional development, and following successful completion of your probation, you will receive support towards an AAT or CIMA qualification, depending on experience.
