Lecturer in Ancient History
Are you an academic with the enthusiasm and ability to carry out teaching and research in Ancient History? As a Lecturer in Ancient History, you will carry out teaching and research that contributes to our existing strengths in Classics and in the School more broadly. You will teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, with a particular focus on Ancient History. You will also pursue a research agenda that builds on your achievements to date and that contributes to the School’s reputation for high quality and innovative research. You will be expected to contribute to the effective management of the School, Faculty and wider University by undertaking appropriate administrative duties.
You will have a PhD in Ancient History or a cognate field, and relevant teaching experience at undergraduate level.
