Student Communications Officer

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Interviews are expected to take place between 17th-28th November.

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for higher education? Do you want to develop campaigns that meet the needs of diverse audiences?  Can you help shape how students engage with life at one of the UK’s leading universities?

You will support the creation of high-impact communications for a diverse audience of more than 40,000 students from 140 countries. This includes developing creative campaigns that inform and inspire students, across multiple channels.

Working within the Student Communications team, you will work closely with colleagues from across the University to improve the student experience and support the university’s strategic aims.

You will utilise your excellent writing and editing skills, a creative eye, and an understanding of the appropriate tone of voice for different audiences and channels. You must be able to work flexibly, independently and collaboratively, and have an appreciation of the communications challenges a university faces.

Please note that this post may be suitable for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route but first-time applicants might need to qualify for salary concessions. For more information please visit: www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa.
