Senior Health and Safety Manager

This role will be based on the University campus. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have the ability to lead and support a team in a challenging and ever changing environment? Are you passionate about driving and developing an occupational health and safety management system across a group of Faculties, Schools Services. Do you have the ability to engage with a wider variety of stakeholders and support the delivery of a varied and responsive health and safety strategy for the University?

We are looking to appoint an exceptional safety professional with experience of developing and implementing service strategy and with the ability to lead team members to implement these aims.

You will provide effective professional advice and use your previous experience of delivering a safety management system to include training, auditing and the implementation of integrated electronic systems.  

A flexible and supportive approach will be required.  Taking the lead on core service / hub projects, you may also deputise for the Head of Health and Safety in their absence.
