Interviews are expected to be held on the 31st March 2026
This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you have good general office and administrative experience, in addition to strong organisational skills, to support the efficient and effective working of a busy and diverse department? Can you manage senior staff members’ diaries, arrange meetings and deal with enquiries? Are you hard working, enthusiastic and thrive in challenging but rewarding environments? Do you have effective communication skills with a positive approach and the ability to multi-task?
We are looking for a highly self-motivated and flexible individual with enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude to work within the Governance and Compliance Directorate.
Working as part of a team with a cross-university focus, you will provide administrative support to colleagues across the Governance and Compliance Directorate.
This is a varied and interesting role in which you will play a crucial part in facilitating the business of the Directorate through high-quality administrative support. Your responsibilities will also include supporting meetings and events, maintaining team files and online content, raising purchase orders, booking travel and accommodation, and supporting recruitment and other HR aligned processes. Your strong customer service and interpersonal skills will support the provision of a robust, responsive and efficient administrative support service. The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and turn tasks around quickly with high attention to detail is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a central University Directorate and contribute to strong and successful institutional governance.
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Information on other visa options is available at: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
