Theme Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to support activity across our Academic Themes as well as our general staff and PGR community in the School of Computing.

You will play a vital role in supporting all Theme staff and being the first point of contact for Postgraduate Research Students and staff within each Theme.  You will have experience of working in a busy office environment, experience of providing high-level administrative support and organising and supporting meetings and events. You will be flexible with good communication and interpersonal skills and as you will be working with a variety of colleagues, you will demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility and initiative in all areas of the role, with the ability to deal with varied tasks, juggle priorities, and have the ability to prioritise your work against tight deadlines.

We are based in the newly formed Sir William Henry Bragg Building, the University’s £96M investment in the state-of-the-art Bragg Centre for Materials Research. Our research ranges from fundamental advances in algorithms and our understanding of computation to highly applied research into new display technologies for clinical diagnosis, energy-efficient data centres, and profound insight into data through visualisation. We have strong links with the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics, Robotics Leeds, and the Leeds Institute for Fluid Dynamics. We're also a partner of The Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national data science and artificial intelligence institute.

So if you are looking for an exciting new opportunity and would like to join a friendly team, based within a successful expanding School and working in a state-of-the-art building, we would love to hear from you.

We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
