Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering (Teaching & Scholarship)
Do you have the skills to teach and enthuse undergraduate students in the areas of engineering design and CAD and the enthusiasm to develop new teaching approaches in one of the leading UK Schools of Mechanical Engineering?
As a member of the School you will contribute to the delivery of student education with particular emphasis on training students in CAD and engineering design. You will lead and deliver modules in these areas as directed by the Head of School and the Director of Student Education, working with colleagues to ensure this training aligns to subsequent modules in our research-led curriculum and meets the requirements of our external professional bodies. These modules will be delivered on campus in Leeds and, in some cases, may be delivered at our Joint School in China. You will also be involved in running a number of design and build ‘competitions’ as part of our degree programmes and provide tutorial and project supervision.
