Teaching Fellow in Security (Middle East)

You will provide effective and innovative research-led teaching in the area of Security and associated research methods, and contribute to existing modules in your specialist field working both independently and in collaboration with established staff.
You will have the ability to deliver excellent research-led teaching in the area of Security with additional interests and teaching abilities in the area of the Middle East. Your focus will be on the contemporary theories, narratives, challenges, and conflicts which characterise both areas. You will also have teaching interests in the areas of insurgency, conflict, complex emergencies, and terrorism. We are looking in particular for the ability to contribute to our MA programmes. There may be further teaching commitments (for example seminar-teaching) in line with student needs, as well as supervision of dissertations at UG level.
