This role will be based on the University campus. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
The Teaching Spaces Facilities Officer supports the smooth operation of all facilities in around 400 classrooms, lecture theatres and meeting spaces by maintaining their functionality and appearance.
The role involves a wide range of activities, including providing general assistance to campus users, reporting faults such as leaks for others to fix, carrying out minor repairs like replacing a castor on a chair, performing basic general maintenance such as replacing clock batteries, and ensuring the correct amount of equipment and furniture is in each room.
The role involves delivering effective and efficient support to users of Teaching Spaces, helping to maintain a safe environment for all occupants.
The postholder will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and strongly committed to delivering exceptional support.
