Conferences and Events Operations Coordinator

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and growing Conference and Events team, at an exciting time for the service, with new venues and initiatives being launched over the next year. We offer a range of venues and event management products and pride ourselves on providing a world-class, friendly and professional service. You will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of conferences, events and hospitality to internal and external customers at the University of Leeds.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least one year of event management experience, strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to take their next step in the events industry at a new venue delivering various types and sizes of events. You will have a flexible can-do attitude, exceptional organisational skills, and a customer-centric approach to work, and thrive working as part of a team. 

During busy event periods, you will be required to provide support during weekends, early morning and evenings; 5 over 7 days. Otherwise, the working pattern is typical office hours and is based on-site at the University Campus.
