Residence Service Supervisor (Nights)
Salary: Grade 3 (£22,214 to 23,144 p.a.)
Essential: A full current valid driving licence (for manual vehicles) and recent driving experience with the ability to drive in a safe and appropriate manner
Residential Services provides accommodation for around 8,500 University of Leeds students in self-catered and catered sites, both on and off campus. We also provide facilities for meetings and conferences. We are an innovative service with a clear vision to provide some of the country’s best student accommodation.
We are looking for friendly, customer focused individual to join our team. You will have significant experience of working in a front-line customer service environment, with communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a wider team. You will provide a high quality front line reception service to our customers, and will have the ability to undertake minor repair and maintenance tasks and site audits and oversee the performance of external contractors working at the site.
Flexibility is key in this role, as you may be required to work at various Residence locations (near the Leeds campus) to meet the needs of the business. You will be based at one of our Residence locations but should be prepared to work at any of the other Residential Services’ sites as required. The role also involves driving a Residential Services vehicle so you will also need a full current valid driving licence (manual vehicles).
Residence staff are required to provide a flexible service, working as necessary to meet the needs of the business. The standard shift pattern for this role is 4 days on, 4 days off, 10 hours per shift with a 1 hour unpaid break.
The post also requires a Basic Disclosure Check.
