Are you interested in developing an academic career alongside a role in teaching undergraduate dental students in Restorative Dentistry? Do you wish to continue to develop your skills in this area and contribute to a specialist academic team in Restorative Dentistry?
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about teaching in Restorative Dentistry. You will be an individual who wishes to have a clinical role and who wishes to contribute to the development of undergraduate dentists. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your own scholarship and expertise within the field of Dental Education whilst contributing to clinical Restorative dentistry.
To be eligible to apply for this lectureship, you will have a BChD or BDS degree (or equivalent) and hold full registration with the UK General Dental Council. You will have completed foundation training/relevant general professional training or the equivalent and have developed clinical competencies in Restorative disciplines. Evidence of a commitment and enthusiasm for pursuing an academic career in Restorative Dentistry is an essential requirement.
This post comes with the opportunity to develop in the field of Education through support for enrolling onto a Clinical Education MEd or Doctor of Education course dependent upon the level of prior post graduate qualifications.
This role will be based on the University campus.
