In line with the School of Dentistry’s Student Education strategy you will contribute to, and develop the teaching, supervision and assessment of students within the Dental Hygiene and Therapy programme within the School of Dentistry. There is also a component of integrated teaching (i.e. undergraduate dental students, dental nurses and dental technicians) with the other members of the dental team.
You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of students within the Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy Programme, together with Dental Surgery students, with active participation in clinical audit and research of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy and clinical care.
You will draw on clinical or academic experience to delivery teaching and scholarship in the field of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. You will contribute to the School through involvement in innovations in student education, and related scholarship. Administration duties will also be expected for Grade 7 staff.
Full professional registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) is required.

Available working days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
