Leeds Cancer Research Centre - Centre Officer
You will join the team to provide high-level administrative coordination for the Centre’s Executive Committee and subcommittees and work closely with the Centre Manager to support the delivery of centre wide events and strategic initiatives.
This role will focus on developing and implementing advanced administrative processes that address the diverse needs of the Centre’s Executive Committee and 9 subcommittees. You will provide high-level administrative coordination, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, recording accurate minutes, and managing follow-up actions. You will continue to review and refine operational workflows to ensure efficiency and manage stakeholder data within the Centre’s relationship management databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
You will also be responsible for managing the logistics and delivery of LCRC wide events, workshops, purchasing goods and services such as payments for conferences and external services and planning and execution of national and international travel, including flight and accommodation bookings and handling travel logistics.
You will work with the centre manager to operationalising the centres communications strategy though updating the LCRC Teams and SharePoint sites, LCRC future external facing website and post regularly on social media and communication platforms.
