Lecturer in Mental Health (Quality and Safety) Teaching and Research

The School invites applications for a lectureship in Mental Health (teaching, research and scholarship). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our investment in Mental Health research in the school. Our research single overarching aim is to undertake internationally excellent research and innovation with a focus on research themes of ‘Ageing Well’ and ‘Quality and Safety’. In doing so, we will address questions that (i) matter to, and improves the lives, experiences and outcomes of, people who use health and social care in the UK and beyond, and/or (ii) enhances the delivery and organisation of health and social care. This post will sit in the ‘Quality and Safety’ theme focusing on mental health care. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading researchers in these areas and with high calibre educationalists and scholars. You will be expected to liaise with practitioners within the local NHS as appropriate as well as staff within the School and the wider University.

You will have a PhD in a related discipline or health related subject or equivalent experience. A registrant on the NMC register Mental Health Nursing is desirable but not required.
