Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellow

This role will be based at the Academic Unit for Ageing & Stroke Research (ASR) on the Bradford Teaching Hospitals site, with co-location at the Leeds Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS) on the main University of Leeds campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge?     Do you have a background in ageing research and / or knowledge mobilisation?  Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

This Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellow role will join the vibrant Academic Unit for Ageing and Stroke Research (ASR), a leading health and social care research centre with an extensive track record of addressing key, relevant questions in ageing and stroke. This is an exciting opportunity to develop, lead, and evaluate knowledge mobilisation activities that ensure research is translated into practice and policy, improving care and outcomes for older people.

The post holder will be involved in a range of projects across the ASR research portfolio, including being part of the ‘Health and Care in Our Ageing Society’ theme in the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Yorkshire & Humber, and contributing to national evaluations of health and care policy and service innovations. This will include actively contributing to a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) National Evaluation Team working with Karen Spilsbury, Professor of Nursing in the School of Healthcare, along with partners from Manchester University and Manchester Foundation Trust (ROSE-NET).

This is a great opportunity to work with internationally renowned experts in applied health research and through major NIHR-funded infrastructure with a focus on national policy evaluation and Knowledge Mobilisation activities.
