MBChB Year 3 Special Senses ICU Lead

MBChB Year 3 Special Senses ICU Lead

We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The University of Leeds is one of the top 75 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.

The Special Senses ICU allows students to acquire the knowledge and terminology in Dermatology, ENT and Ophthalmology, as well as participating on clinical placements, over a 5-week period. This is for all students in Year 3 of the MBChB programme.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with knowledge and experience in course delivery, assessment, curriculum design, and scholarship of teaching and learning. With the ability to collaborate effectively and to motivate and inspire learners, you will become a valued academic member of the Institute of Medical Education. You will support innovation in our taught programmes, introducing new forms of teaching and learning.

You will also work with colleagues to support them in the introduction of pioneering curriculum design delivery, utilising interactive teaching methods, inclusive and authentic learning, and assessment.

The role is open to both existing members of contracted staff within the School of Medicine and external applicants.
