Student Welcome Administration and Evaluation Officer
Salary: Grade 5 (£25,742 - £29,605 p.a. Depending on experience)
Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 12 August 2024
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements
As Student Welcome Administration and Evaluation Officer you will work as part of a team, playing a key role in embedding, extending and sustaining an ‘all-year-round’ approach to WIT. You will support a range of projects, events and activities to ensure that students feel welcome on campus (and beyond) and develop a sense of belonging to the university, their course and the wider community. You will also have responsibility for regularly evaluating projects and events to ensure continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support for a range of projects; assisting with event planning and facilitation, monitoring the team inbox and responding to enquiries, assisting with the administration of a pool of student ambassadors, regularly evaluating project activities and events using quantitative and qualitative research methods (such as creating surveys / feedback forms) and assisting with the co-ordination and facilitation of focus groups/workshops as well as assisting with the creation of reports based on their findings. You will have experience of monitoring and evaluating activities / projects and collating data, excellent organisational and communication skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, attention to detail and an ability to work flexibly to balance priorities.
