The University is a partner in The Alan Turing Institute, the national institute for data science and artificial Intelligence, with the mission to make great leaps in research to change the world for the better.

This position is part of a strategic initiative to extend the depth and breadth of our activity across the University, through collaboration with other disciplinary areas, including medicine, engineering, finance, environmental sciences, and humanities. This recognises the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in many areas of academic research, particularly through the application of deep learning and others areas of machine learning. For this reason, we particularly welcome applications from researchers working in the area of machine learning.
