Teaching Fellow in Economics

Do you have the ability to motivate and inspire learners? Do you have a clear commitment to creating and delivering an excellent student experience?  Are you an experienced Economics teacher with excellent communication skills and a real passion for teaching the subject?  

We are looking for outstanding candidates to join the Economics Division of Leeds University Business School during an exciting phase in our development. Our highly popular and vibrant teaching programmes are expanding whilst our research activities continue to grow. The Division has a strong research focus and members of the Division publish in leading economics journals. Our research is also distinctively pluralistic and interdisciplinary. 

To support these developments we are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow with a strong commitment to undertaking excellent teaching and the ability to contribute to the enhancement of the student experience on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You should have a track-record of excellent teaching as well as a strong commitment to student learning and teaching. You should have experience of lecturing and tutoring at undergraduate level. Beyond teaching on core modules, you will assist with student support and development activities. You are also expected to contribute to teaching innovations and curriculum enhancement as well as to develop a range of scholarship activities as an active participant in the Division’s Leeds Economics: Advances in Pedagogy (LEAP) research group. Finally, you will be able to contribute to the development and delivery of online programmes.
